Indian Canyons Golf Resort has been a jewel of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley since 1961. Surrounded on three sides by breathtaking views at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains is Indian Canyons Golf Resort.

This has been the crown jewel of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley golf for over 50 years. This 36-hole track was a regular hangout for celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Sammy Davis Jr., Johnny Carson, Jackie Gleason, and Milton Berle. One of the biggest tournaments held during the early years of the club was the Frank Sinatra Invitational, which drew a vast array of some of the most well-known celebrities and athletes of the time.

Indian Canyons offers one of the best desert golf experiences you will find anywhere, featuring a rolling terrain with spectacular natural desert landscape. Bunker strategically placed and some of the finest water holes in the desert contribute to make this a challenging golf outing for players of all handicap levels and an unforgettable golf experience. The facility offers two very distinctively different golfing experiences.

The South Course is an 18-hole championship course features an extraordinary 5 par five holes that stretch over a challenging 6582 yards. This par 72, 6,582 yard championship course also has four large lakes that come into play on six of the holes, requiring the player to risk an attempt to carry the lake or layup for the approach shot. The course also features over 850 palm trees that line the fairways which naturally undulate on the desert floor.

The North Course is a par 72, 6,943 yard course that was designed by well known architect, William P. Bell and was preserved to maintain the traditional Palm Springs charm. This characteristically designed golf course winds its way through the Palm Springs Canyon region and the neighborhoods of 1960’s mid-century modern homes and magnificent mountain views. The course is full of literally thousands of palm, olive and many other native trees and desert flowers. The north course features six stunning water hazards that will require strategic play, the largest which is located between the 9th and 18th holes and serves as the course’s signature hole, the historic Walt Disney fountain which randomly blasts water jets over 100 feet high.

Once considered to far off the beaten path by Coachella Valley visitors, Indian Canyons is now just a few minutes from the heart of the all the action in Palm Springs and 15 minutes from Palm Springs International Airport. After your round of golf players can enjoy dinner and/or drinks in the South clubhouse while enjoying the spectacular vistas of the surrounding San Jacinto Mountains.
