Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage California is fast becoming one of the destination golf courses for any golf vacationer to the Coachella Valley. Already recognized around the golf universe for the rich history and golf tournament tradition it has garnered over the years. Mission Hills Country Club provides a golf smorgasbord of golf experience, offering three very unique golf courses to play each named for their famous designer.

The Arnold Palmer course plays at a very challenging 6,834 yards and was designed in 1978. This was the first course in the Coachella Valley designed by the golfing legend and is players favorite not only because of the name it bears but also because of it will fully test your golfing skills. The Arnold Palmer Course offers opportunity for strategic drives around doglegs, undulating fairways and water features. This course provides a true challenge to golfers of all skill levels.

The Pete Dye Challenge Course playing at 6,955 yards from the tips will test the skill of even low handicappers. The course opened in 1988, and features rolling fairways, elevated greens that often times aggressively slope and deep bunkers. There are many beautiful lakes throughout the course that will require a full carry in order to reach the green in regulation.

The Dinah Shore Course has hosted a Major Championship for more than 40 years. The finishing hole number 18 is a monster 646-yard par 5 ending with an island green right in front of the gallery clubhouse. Brittany Lincicome’s finished this hole with a very rare eagle in 2009 to win the Dinah Shore.
Each of the three championship courses offer six teeing areas to ensure that golfers can play the course at a comfortable pace and level that matches their game. Golfers of all abilities and skill will have an opportunity to test the full range of their game.

Mission Hills features a 17-acre full practice facility known to be one of the best in the area including a 10,000-square-foot chipping green, multiple practice putting greens and a practice sand bunkers. This is also the annual host site of the Dinah Shore Tournament Course, which has been repeatedly rated the No. 1 golf course in Coachella Valley. Mission Hills is also the host site every year of The LPGA’s Kraft Nabisco Championship since 1972.

Mission Hills Country Club has also previously hosted prestigious events such as the AGJA, ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior Golf Tournament, PGA Club Professional Championship, U.S. Open Qualifier, California State Open, and U.S. National Seniors, LPGA Section Qualifier and many PGA and LPGA Qualifying schools.
